June 8th, Saturday: Welcome Cocktail

1st ICNF organization is glad to invite all our participants to join the welcome cocktail.
It will take place on June 8th at 6.00 pm, in the lobby of the Hotel Guimarães.

June 9th, Sunday: Guimarães Experience

Guimarães is a city with a great historical past, intrinsically linked to the foundation of national identity. The historical centre of Guimarães constitutes the only vestige of a unique urban concept, which underwent its own evolution due to the medieval morphology of the area. Classified by UNESCO as World Heritage in 2001, the historical centre of Guimarães is considered as one of the most productive and lasting investments in the city.
This is a guided visit including explaining the story of the monuments, squares, balconies and narrow streets.
This experience includes visits to:

  • Castle
  • S. Miguel Chapel
  • Ducal Palace
  • Main streets and squares of the historical centre
  • Flavors of Guimarães

June 10th, Monday: Conference Dinner

As top moment of 1st ICNF social events a Conference Dinner will take place on June 11th, at 8.00 pm, on MIT PENHA

June 11th, Tuesday: Porto Experience

Porto is the second city in Portugal, in the north bank of Douro River, close to its mouth.

This experience includes visits to:

  • Aliados
  • S. Bento Station
  • Cathedral
  • Ribeira quay
  • Port wine celars
  • Panoramic view of Clérigos Church and Foz
  • Porto wine tasting

June 9th, 10th, 11th

Coffee Breaks:

On June 9th, 10th and 11th, we will provide to our guests two coffee breaks per day, moments of relax, musical moments, and exchange of ideas. These breaks are open to all participants.

Lunches:

On June 9th, 10th and 11th we will offer a buffet lunch, which will take place at Hotel Guimarães (main Conference location). Lunches are social moments thought to be relaxing breaks but also useful moments of discussion and experiences exchange.
